"Inspiration Awaits"

TYLIGHT Channeling Poetry and Light: 

When I was an even younger child, I was intrigued by a textbook illustration depicting the 1783 flight of the Montgolfier Brother's hot air balloon in Paris, France.  The designs shown were, of course, visions of the artist rendering them.  This was but one of a lifetime of momentary permutations, bits and pieces absorbed into my subconscious. 

These are the fertile seeds, coagulating and congealing into visions, thoughts and inspirations.  One
day on a day like today, they emerge recognized as whole or perhaps even becoming an invention.  For the artist, or anyone who experiences inner connection and merger, these are the building blocks from what some refer to as the universal mind - a literal gene bank of knowledge from which agreed upon reality manifests.  There is no copying here, no plagiarism, but simply the result of absorption through accumulated exposure.

I ask myself then what does an image from a simple piece of stone found in my yard have to do with a balloon flight in Paris and designs best appreciated from the air over the Nazca Plain in Peru?  They both result from visions, parts collected from nature ever waiting to emerge.

This morning I post with a deep feeling of awe and reverence. If you have ever looked closely at any of my images, may I suggest that you do so with this one. Personally, I am not a fan of putting a face or identity upon the creator nor any brand name, my limited mind is incapable of accurately doing so. Incredible as it sounds, images here are clearly showing the motifs of all religions of which I am aware. Here are the Moai of Easter Island, the gods of the Maya, the Aztecs and innumerable other civilizations, all in a little 6 inch piece of stone. The psychologists are right to a point, we are all seeking to find ourselves in the world around us. It's so easy to say that creation is everywhere. The surprise for me though is that so are the fragmentations of its identities, shapes and forms.
